Hot Trivet plays a unique blend of psychedelic rock, world music, jazz, and bluegrass, with heavy emphasis on deep and energetic grooves, musical interaction, and improvisation. The band is comprised of musical partnerships some of which are now in their eighth year. Until recently, Ben Nitzan, Joey Fabian, John Hasty, and Chris Rossbach have performed together in a number of other configurations, exploring diverse styles ranging from Rock & Roll to Jazz to Afro-Cuban to Middle-Eastern. Hot Trivet marks the first simultaneous collaboration among all four.
