1993 by nine members of the University of California Marching Band who
wanted to play shitty ska covers at band parties. True to its marching
band roots, !Tang prides
itself on being big and loud.

at nearly all of the major Bay Area clubs, including Slim's, the Fillmore,
the Bottom of the Hill, Paradise Lounge, Blake's, the Berkeley Square,
the Boomerang, the Starry Plough, the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, New George's,
Club Cocodrie, Cafe DuNord, the Elbo Room, Bruno's, the Lost and Found
Saloon, and Maritime Hall.
!Tang is winning
new fans everywhere with its great songs and its undeniable sex appeal.
The band has played shows in Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Luis Obisbo
in addition to its regular Bay Area appearances. !Tang
even
took a two week tour of frozen Colorado in January. Check the !Tang
